The Suzanne H. Summers Resource Collection

The Suzanne H. Summers Resource Collection is named after Suzanne H. "Sue" Summers, a Miami graduate and long-time Miami staff member. Sue was instrumental in creating the Women*s Center. In addition, she donated furniture, money, and books to help the Center get started. Sue retired from Miami in 1998 but remained very active in the Miami and Oxford communities until her death in 2008. In spite of her many accomplishments, Sue was a humble, grounded individual. In the early 1990's, in recognition of Sue's generosity and many contributions to the Women*s Center, the resource collection was named after her.

All books in the Suzanne H. Summers Resource Collection are cataloged using the Library of Congress method and can be searched by using King Libraries Catalog system.

The Collection is located in the Center for Student Diversity & Inclusion in 2030 Armstrong. Please bring your Miami University ID with you. Required for check-out and check-in of resources.
