Combined Bachelor and Master in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology

Program Description

This program prepares students to succeed in the tech entrepreneurship ecosystem by providing foundational knowledge and skills to work in tech startups.

The combined program allows undergraduate students to begin working toward a Master degree as they finish their undergraduate degree. For students admitted into the combined program, 9 hours of 500/600 level courses may be double counted toward the Bachelor and Master degrees. The degree may be obtained in 5 years or less, particularly if students bring advanced standing credit into the Bachelor degree.

Who is eligible?

The combined program is designed for any undergraduate major. Students are expected to bring skills in critical thinking, collaboration, and communication from their undergraduate experiences.

Both full- and part-time students may participate in the combined program.  Regular time-limits for completing the master’s degree apply to students in a combined program.

Students majoring in Entrepreneurship or Emerging Technology in Business and Design should consult with department advisors early to eliminate curricular redundancy.
