Miami University to close at 2 p.m. Friday to honor and commemorate Juneteenth

juneteenth-webex-posterPresident Gregory P. Crawford is announcing that Miami University will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 19, to honor and commemorate Juneteenth. We should all reflect and contemplate the importance of this day in U.S. history, and how much further we must go to bring about justice and equality for all.

We must embrace the passion and determination to achieve racial justice and equality.  In these times we are reminded of the possibility of true change to better our communities and our nation, and the hard work it will require of us all.
