Health service offices for students and employees to relocate

In preparation for the construction of the new clinical health sciences and wellness building, the health services building, located on Campus Avenue, will be closing Wednesday, Dec. 9, to move its operations to temporary locations.

While the new building is being constructed, Student Health Services (operated by TriHealth), Student Counseling Service and the Employee Health Center will move to Harris Hall. The Office of Student Wellness will move to Boyd Hall. 

Due to the move, all student health services offices will be closed Dec. 9-Dec. 11 and reopen on Dec. 14. 

The Employee Health Center will operate for medical visits only at the Oxford Priority Care, 5151 Morning Sun Road, Oxford, Dec. 9-Dec. 11. The Employee Health Center will be open at Harris Hall Dec. 12 for medical visits only. It will be closed the week of Dec. 21 during the university's winter break. The new clinical health sciences and wellness building will be located off Campus Avenue on a large parcel that includes the current health services building. The new building will house student and employee health services, student counseling service, the office of student wellness.

It will also be home to numerous academic programs such as nursing, speech pathology and audiology, and a physician assistant program. The building is scheduled to be completed in 2023
