Are you looking to start a new career or advance in your current one? Then English Studies may be the right major for you!

  • The BA in English Studies draws on all of the fields within the study of English: literature, professional and creative writing, literature, linguistics, and cultural studies. Students are challenged to read, write, and think critically and creatively. 
  • 36 semester hours, preparing students with skills highly valued by today’s employers. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), among the most in-demand competencies today are written communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and digital technology – skills you will cultivate with English Studies! We will help prepare you for the challenges of the 21st-century global workplace.
