For a second year, Marsha Robinson and her colleague Dr. Lili Yulyadi bin Arnakim at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur have connected their classrooms for shared student research projects about recent world history and the rise of civil society.  This year, the Humanities Coordinatorship at Miami University-Middletown will expand its activities under the Memorandum of Understanding between the universities.  Dr. Robinson will present a view of the history of the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) at the 6th International Conference on Southeast Asia.  Dr. Yulyadi plans to visit Miami in February 2016.  They are exploring internationalization of education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
