The Janus Forum

The Janus Forum provides a place for members of the community to come together and discuss opposing views freely and passionately. We provide a forum where students can explore the multitude of views that exist, and then arrive at their own opinions.

The Janus Forum is a catalyst for developing timely, interesting, and rigorous discussion of public affairs. The Janus Forum is sponsored by the Department of Political Science thanks to the generous support of Thomas W. Smith (Miami ’50).

The JANUS Forum is pleased to announce the 2021 Spring Forum: "The Biden Administration's First 100 Days - What Can We Really Expect?".

The event was held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 7:30 - 8:30 pm via a Live Webinar.

The JANUS Forum is sponsored by the Department of Political Science thanks to the generous support of Thomas W. Smith (Miami ’50) and the Menard Center for Democracy.
