Koschik and Hara Summer Bridge to Success Bootcamp

Our Goals

  • Learn strategies for academic success (study and time management skills)
  • Network with College of Arts and Science and Miami University faculty, administrator, and staff
  • Connect with your personal Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Science
  • Review mathematics, chemistry, and biology concepts (STEMM Scholars)
  • Build a sense of community and belonging (peers, staff, faculty)
  • Increase knowledge of campus resources and academic support services
  • Build confidence in making the transition to college
  • Participate in professional development and team-building activities

Explore exciting opportunities with CAS Student Organizations and tour Miami buildings as you walk your fall course schedule 

There is no cost to the student to attend the camp. All housing, dining, and activities will be covered as part of the Koschik and Hara Summer Bridge to Success Bootcamp. All expenses for the parent/guardian and student's Welcome Reception on the first day (move-in) of the boot camp will be covered by the program.

This Bootcamp is only open to incoming first-year STEMM or HASS-eligible students who have been accepted into the STEMM or HASS Scholar Programs.
