Male students working in an electrical engineering classroom

Electrical and computer engineers design technologies as diverse as robots, cell phones, GPS receivers, computers, digital music players, and medical devices. Electrical and computer engineering involve the study of both analog and digital systems. Electrical engineering is broader, whereas computer engineering has more focus on digital systems (computer hardware and software).

The ECE department offers undergraduate majors in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and engineering management, a minor in electrical engineering, and graduate studies in computational electrical and computer engineering.  Click below for details.
