Engineering and Computing Complex

Our 190,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility complex is a very flexible learning environment. We have two-story high-bay spaces for crane construction and working with robots; rooftop satellite receivers and high-frequency communication equipment; faculty and student research labs; high-tech classrooms and computer labs, just to name a few. Student teamwork is an important part of the curriculum in CEC and there is room for students to meet and practice their presentations.

Student Work Spaces

There are multiple team rooms spread around the complex where students can work together in teams and study. These are available for reservation and a drop in use. Two student lounges exist with vending machines and study areas, one in Benton and one in the lobby between Garland and Engineering buildings.
