Latest Journal Issue Focuses on Education Abroad

The latest issue of Miami's peer-reviewed Journal on Excellence in College Teaching focuses on "The Importance of Curriculum for Student Learning Through Education Abroad." As the issue's Guest Editor, Steven T. Duke, University of Nebraska, describes it, "This special issue of the Journal on Excellence in College Teaching touches on a few of the courses, models and support mechanisms that colleges and universities in the U.S. have developed to enhance the student learning outcomes of education abroad experiences. . . . . Overall, these articles [demonstrate that] [c]onstructive work on student learning requires careful attention to the variety of ways such learning can be evaluated" (from "A Message From the Guest Editor," pp. 1, 4).
