Events and Projects

Each year during Mindfulness Week, the Mindfulness & Contemplative Inquiry Center connects with faculty, students, staff, and community as they inquire about mindfulness, radical compassion, critical witnessing, and other types of contemplative practices and research. We co-sponsor and coordinate the S.S. Rama Rao and Kantham Pappu Annual Mahatma Gandhi Birthday Lecture with the Center for American and World Cultures. Every other year we hold a special critical contemplative event inviting a leading national and international expert. We create research to practice to community (RPC) briefs designed to support folks from across disciplines and communities as they utilize contemplative practices and inquiry in their lives and work. Join us for one of the events and/or participate in a contemplative project.
