Accreditation and Certification
Accreditation and certification provide assurance to students and prospective employers that our professional degree programs meet the highest standards. Two programs offered by the Department of Kinesiology, Nutrition and Health (KNH), Athletic Training and Dietetics, are accredited by their respective professional organizations.
Graduates of KNH's athletic training and dietetics programs are eligible to apply for professional certification. This requires passing a national exam and in the case of dietetics also fulfilling a professional internship following graduation.
