International Resources
We understand that choosing to attend a graduate program is another country is a tremendously important and challenging decision. We are eager to answer any questions that you may have about our program, connect you to student resources that support success, and share additional program-related activities that help build our cohesive international community of students studying abroad.
International Students & Scholars Services
Miami University offers many resources for the more than 2,000 international graduate students from nearly 70 countries that attend Miami. The Office of International Students & Scholars Services (ISSS) provides guidance to admitted students. Highly trained advisers help students with immigration regulations and procedures, visa matters, health insurance, and academic and personal counseling.
ISSS also connects students with additional services and campus resources, as well as conducts a new student orientation program. Orientation is designed to help new Miami students learn more about academic life, registering for courses, becoming acquainted with campus and community resources, and also meeting other new international and domestic students at Miami University!
