We regret to announce that following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's recommendations and guidelines outlined from the Ohio Department of Health, we have canceled the College of Education, Health and Society in-person recognition ceremony on May 17th.

Congratulations to our graduating seniors!

Dear family and friends, please join us for the following:

College of Education, Health and Society Divisional Ceremony
Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 9:30a.m. (program generally concludes before 11:00a.m.)

The University Commencement Ceremony is the day prior

Divisional ceremonies are smaller events designed by each division to complement the university ceremony.

Instructions for EHS undergraduate, Master's and Specialist Degree candidates

Please arrive at Millett Hall no later than 8:45 a.m. if you desire to participate in the divisional ceremony. The procession will line up at 9:15a.m. (Master's Degree first/undergraduates to follow). The program will start promptly at 9:30a.m.

Master’s and Specialist Degree Candidates

Upon arrival, please check in at the appropriate designated table in the Center Concourse (center / front doors of Millett Hall) to pick up your name card.

Undergraduates Candidates

Upon arrival, please check in at the appropriate designated tables as indicated by your last name A-K West Concourse (nearest parking lot) and L-Z East Concourse (nearest Gross Center) to pick up your name card. 

All, please remain in your designated area for line up at 9:15a.m.

Please be dressed appropriately in the university approved cap and gown. (Note: The tassel goes on the LEFT side of your mortarboard. Tassels were moved from the right side to the left at the university ceremony).

Doctoral Degree Candidates

To honor students receiving the doctoral degree, the Graduate School will hold a NEW ceremony in May 2020. The hooding ceremony is a special occasion and students are encouraged to invite their friends and family members to the event. Doctoral candidates who complete their degrees by May 2020 deadlines are invited to participate. The Graduate School Hooding Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020. The event will begin at 1:00 PM in Shideler Hall, Room 152. A reception in honor of our students will immediately follow the ceremony.

Doctoral students will no longer be hooded during main graduation. They will be recognized during the May main graduation ceremony if they choose to attend. To be hooded by their adviser(s), students may choose to attend the NEW Graduate School Hooding Ceremony at 1:00 PM in Shideler Hall on Saturday, May 16, 2020.
