What Students Are Saying

“As a first-generation college student, I have been blessed by this opportunity to be able to purchase professional attire that I will use during medical school.

“Growing up in a less privileged community has not only offered financial and academic challenges, but it has also allowed me to realize the true value of a college education.

“This grant originally allowed me to purchase a suit that was used during my medical school interview, and now this grant will allow me to purchase a new suit.

“I will wear this new suit as I begin the pathway to becoming a physician, where I will hopefully have a substantial impact on someone’s life.”
