  • Has COVID affected your every day work life? If so, how? COVID has had a significant impact on my daily work life, bringing both advantages and disadvantages. I'm certainly saving a lot of time that used to be spent commuting!
  • What are some ways this new way of life has benefited the way you look at your daily work operations? There are more hours in the day I can use to work or spend time with family. Also because communication is done virtually from home, I'm now more connected to colleagues in remote places. I've never been as connected to global partners as I am now!
  • Has doing more virtual meetings, etc, shown to be more beneficial to how you can be productive in your daily activities? Virtual meetings have enabled me to stay connected, though there is certainly an advantage to seeing someone in person. In-person communication is the thing I miss the most while working from home.
  • Once COVID has slowed down do you think this will affect your future way of continuing to do your work? After COVID starts to slow, I don't think we'll ever return to working exactly as we did before. I look forward to leveraging the "best of both worlds" in the future.
  • Has having an Eco degree benefited you during this time? Having an Econ degree continues to be an advantage. We've all faced a number of difficult decisions over the last year, both personally & professionally. Having a structured & critical way of thinking through them was imperative for me. It feels like we're in uncharted territory, and thinking like an Economist helps find clarity in the confusion.
