Application Criteria

Applications for the Farmer School of Business Honors Program open on December 1, 2021. To submit an application, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a first-year student who entered Miami University Fall 2021 semester.
  • You must be a student who was admitted into the Farmer School of Business starting the Fall 2021 semester
  • You need to have taken the First-Year Integrated Core prior to Fall 2022 semester.
  • Successful Completion of the following by the Fall 2022 semester:
    • The First-Year Integrated Core (BUS 101, BUS 102, ESP 103, BUS 104)
    • CSE 148
    • ACC 221

Application Process

The Business Honors Application is due Friday, February 25 at 11:59 pm ET. Applications will then be reviewed and if you are selected to move forward, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. Interviews will be conducted in March.

Remember: If you are not currently a member of the Honors College, you will be accepted into the Honors College once you are accepted into FSB Honors. At that point, you will be informed about the Honors College, but remember all of your Honors College requirements will be met by FSB Business Honors requirements.
