Megan W. Gerhardt, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management and Leadership at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where she also serves as Director of Leadership Development for the Farmer School and the Robert D. Johnson Director of the Isaac & Oxley Center for Business Leadership. She teaches university courses at the undergrad and grad level in leadership and organizational change. Megan has published widely on generational differences in the workplace and is author of the book Gentelligence: A Revolutionary Approach to Leading an Intergenerational Workforce. Her Gentelligence work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, NBCNews.com, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle, MarketWatch, The Houston Chronicle, and Inc. Magazine, among others. In 2017, her TEDx talk “Why I Love Millennials...and You Should Too” was released. Dr. Gerhardt’s work with students and professionals focuses on leveraging differences to achieve impact and extraordinary levels of performance.
Dan Docherty, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management and Leadership at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where he also serves as the Assistant Director of the Isaac & Oxley Center for Business Leadership. Dan has taught courses in Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Outside of Miami, Dan is the President of Braintrust, a communication growth consulting firm. Over the past 30 years, Dan has found a true passion for leadership while serving others to coach with impact and purpose so that they can build higher-quality relationships personally and professionally. His professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry was spent leading various Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Medical Liaison teams, which ultimately led him to a Ph.D. degree in Management at Case Western Reserve University. His research was focused on coaching and development as part of the leader-team member relationship. This journey has fueled his passion for leading and coaching, and ultimately, the co-creation of NeuroCoaching™.
