Departmental Notes:

  • Students must earn a 2.0 GPA in all FIN courses (excluding FIN 101) to graduate
  • FIN 301 and 303 should be taken concurrently
  • FIN 381 and 401 should be taken concurrently
  • FIN Electives include FIN 320, 331, 402, 403, 404, 408, 417, 461, 462, 475, or 481
  • FIN electives may NOT include any Capstones
  • All FIN electives must be completed at Miami
  • FIN 331 and FIN 431 may not be used as FIN electives for the Finanace major if pursuing Finance and Real Estate double major.
