Global Friendship Day is a pre-semester program in which international and domestic students learn from one another and share experiences focused on common interests and differing perspectives.

On August 19, 2020 domestic first-year domestic students are invited to join first-year international students on the last day of their orientation for Global Friendship Day.

Program Activities

The program will begin with a welcome on Wednesday morning, followed by a full day of activities. Program participants will connect with one another through experiences that explore their common interests and differing perspectives. Then, Global Friendship groups, comprised of students from all over the world, will compete in the campus exploration photo hunt challenge. The program closes with an awards ceremony, reflection, and a look ahead to upcoming semester’s global learning opportunities.
