Before arriving at Miami, please complete all pre-arrival tasks on this checklist. These steps will help you prepare for orientation, registration, and starting your studies.

• Set up Miami ID and password and get access to necessary Miami Tech
• Make sure you are receiving messages to your @MiamiOH.edu email address. Regularly check your University email address for announcements and updates; make sure to read through and complete all actions in the Orientation Newsletters. If you have any questions or issues, send a message to international@MiamiOH.edu
• Apply for a visa
• Arrange housing (Oxford campus)
• Complete placement tests
• Collect medical records
• Prepare for tuition billing
• Submit a photo for your Miami Student ID
• Complete Canvas Orientation Site
• Submit documents to ISSS
• Review packing tips
• Prepare for entering the U.S.
