Global Faculty Research Profile: Jordan Fenton
Dr. Jordan A. Fenton, Assistant Professor of Art History (recently promoted to Associate Professor), is a specialist of African Art History, with an emphasis on the visual and performed expression of Nigerian masquerade arts. At Miami, Fenton teaches introductions on non-Western art and courses and seminars exploring Africa and its Diaspora.

Dr. Elizabeth 'Like' Lokon was recently selected for a Fulbright award to Indonesia for academic year 2021-2022. Her project will bring her award-winning and evidence-based Opening Minds through Art (OMA) intergenerational program to Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.

Strippel Series Tackles Inequities in Pandemic Response
As more information became available on COVID-19’s disproportionately negative impact on poor, elderly, disabled, and communities of color, it became obvious to the Strippel Fund committee that they needed to use their platform to provide social justice leadership perspectives on ensuring equitable access to healthcare and other resources in communities hardest hit by COVID-19.

Guinigundo and Raval Awarded Internationalization Grant
Karla Guinigundo (Global Initiatives) and Vaishali Raval (Psychology) were recently awarded a $99,525 grant through the US Mission India Public Diplomacy Grants Program "Promoting Internationalization of Indian Universities Through U.S. collaborations."
