Margaret (Gretchen) Ziolkowski, Professor of Russian Emerita, has a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures. She has published several monographs, most recently Rivers in Russian Literature (University of Delaware Press, 2020). As a faculty member and chair in German, Russian, Asian, and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures at Miami University, Dr. Ziolkowski worked extensively with students on their writing for more than three decades. She has also provided editorial assistance to a variety of non-native speakers of English.
