HCWE Director Interviewed About Writing Instruction on National Podcast

On January 27th Build for Tomorrow, a podcast by Jason Feifer of Entrepreneur Magazine, released an episode that featured Elizabeth Wardle, Director of the Howe Center for Writing Excellence (HCWE). The episode centers around the central question of what fosters good writing and why and how American schooling has gone wrong in terms of supporting effective student writers. 

Throughout the episode Feifer and Wardle look at the historical structures that produced the current narrative about writing in the U.S.  Feifer and Wardle discuss how to engage in systemic change and reshaping of writing instruction. The episode mentions innovations at Miami and the work of the Howe Faculty Writing Fellows.
