Kara Strass has accepted a full time position with the Myaamia Center as the Miami Tribe Relations Assistant, a position she previously held as a graduate assistant. Her M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education will serve her well as she works closely with Myaamia students attending Miami University.

Kara is an enrolled citizen of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma who grew up in Huntington, Indiana and has enjoyed a strong family and community connection to her Myaamia heritage. The Myaamia Center looks forward to Kara continuing her support for Myaamia students in this new capacity.
