Named National History Teacher of the Year, 2017
The national award recognizes outstanding K-12 American history teachers across the country. Sara teaches AP U.S. history and world history at Rocky River High School in Rocky River, a suburb west of Cleveland.

Student Teach Abroad
Miami has one of the few education programs in the nation that offers an international student teaching option for select students. Current choices include Europe, based in Luxembourg, and Australia.
