Regional Campuses Motor Vehicle Regulations

(See Student Handbook 6.6 to view Regional Campuses Motor Vehicle Regulations policy in full)

Students, faculty, and staff must display current parking permits on their vehicles when parking on any of Miami University’s campuses. Short-term, temporary permits are available at the Cashier's offices at both regional campuses.

These regulations are in effect at all times. All vehicles must be registered by the end of the first week of classes.

Note: For regional campus students, permits are not required, but each student must register his or her vehicle in the Parking Portal software.

Regional campus students may purchase an Oxford parking permit (blue or yellow) student parking permits Oxford Parking Pass the same as Oxford students.

Oxford students with blue or yellow student parking permits are allowed to park in regional student designated parking areas.

Regional campus parking regulations will be enforced by regional campus Security officers. All fees and fines collected will be credited to the campus issuing the citation. Regional campus parking disputes will be reviewed by the regional parking appeals committee, which will consist of seven (7) regional faculty, staff and students who will meet monthly during the academic year and as needed during the summer.

To appeal a citation or penalty you must complete and submit the Parking Ticket Appeals Form. All decisions of the Parking Appeals Board are final.
