Regional Campuses Motor Vehicle Regulations
(See Student Handbook 6.6 to view Regional Campuses Motor Vehicle Regulations policy in full)
Students, faculty, and staff must register their vehicles when parking on any of Miami University’s campuses.
These regulations are in effect at all times. All vehicles must be registered by the end of the first week of classes.
Note: For regional campus students, permits are not required, but each student must register his or her vehicle in the Parking Portal software.
Oxford students with blue or yellow student parking permits are allowed to park in regional student designated parking areas.
Appeals
Regional campus parking regulations will be enforced by regional campus Security officers. All fees and fines collected will be credited to the campus issuing the citation.
Citations or penalties must be appealed in writing via the driver’s account in the Miami parking portal within ten calendar days of the citation date for consideration by the Parking Appeals Committee. All decisions of the Parking Appeals Committee are final.
Bus Transportation
Not only are our locations close to home or work, we have plenty of well-lit, FREE parking for students. Students, faculty and staff with Miami IDs can ride fare-free on routes between Middletown-Oxford, Middletown-Hamilton and Hamilton-Oxford on Butler County Regional Transit Authority buses.
