2. Check Your Registration Time Ticket

All students are assigned a specific registration time, known as a time ticket or registration window. The registrar assigns registration time tickets according to earned credit hours. On the Student Registration page select "Prepare for Registration", select your term, and then view Registration Status.

3. Review Your Degree Audit

Early in the semester, review your degree audit and make sure your major(s), minor(s), and thematic sequence (if applicable) are listed correctly. If they do not appear or if they are incorrect, this may affect your ability to register for the appropriate courses.

Academic Calendar/Refund Schedule

The Academic Calendar includes important dates, including 'drop-without-a-grade' and "drop-with-a-W" deadlines for each term. Dates can be different for different parts of term (called "sprints"), so checking the Academic Calendar is important. The Academic Calendar does not include information on financial deadlines. For financial information, especially for classes you drop, see the Refund Schedule or contact the Regional One Stop at 513-217-4111.

Course List & Regional Time Tickets

The One Stop Registration website has detailed information about finding classes using the Course List, and planning for registration in advance of your Time Ticket, the time during which you will have priority registration access.  Regional and Oxford Time Tickets can be different, so be sure you know yours in advance by looking it up in BannerWeb. Contact us at regadvising@MiamiOH.edu with questions.

New Incoming Students

If you are a new incoming student, follow the instructions in your application materials and on the New Student Checklist on myMiami to complete the orientation process. You will meet with an advisor during your orientation advising appointment.

Returning Former Students

If you have previously completed coursework as a degree-seeking student at any of the three Miami campuses but have been away from Miami for a semester or more, you are a re-enrolling student. You should complete the re-enrollment form before registering for courses. After your re-enrollment application is completed, you can call our office at 513-727-3440 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.

Update Your Application

If you have never enrolled in classes but have applied to Miami Regionals before, contact Regionals Admission to update your application.
