The computing programs at the Regional campuses are rigorous and relevant technical programs that focus on computing fundamentals with the broader scope of liberal education. We help students achieve what employers want; someone with a technical foundation, problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate.

The Department of Computer & Information Technology is committed to the following:

  • Providing our students a flexible and dynamic curriculum that is responsive to changing IT work force needs
  • Involving local IT industries in curriculum development and delivery
  • Fostering high quality teaching by energetic, committed, and knowledgeable faculty
  • Providing student co-op and internship opportunities so that students may complement their CIT education
