2018 Men's Basketball team standing in a row

MUM's top three men's basketball "most points scored in the Bennett Rec Center" record holders attended the 2017 11th Annual MUM Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on  January 21.  Mike Moore, a 2017 inductee, set the record in 1986 with 41 points.  Eight years laters, Bobby Hunt, a 2007 inductee, broke that record with 43 points.  Hunt's record remained in tact until 2016 when current MUM basketball player, Cooper Nolte, surpassed the record with 45 points.

Miami Middletown’s men’s basketball program has been in existence since the opening of the campus in 1967.  The basketball program has enjoyed a long tradition of excellence. Teams at Miami Middletown previously competed in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference. They have won twenty-one conference championships and eleven state championships winning the conference championship the last eight years in a row.  The men’s team plays a very rigorous schedule outside of the conference, competing against Division II and III schools.
