Tim Holcomb, Director ESP, presented information regarding the formation of an Entrepreneurship Department.
Sheri Leafgren, Teacher Education, introduced the new Primary Education major, which is replacing the Elementary Education major.
Senators engaged in discussions regarding divisional governance in breakout sessions.
The following resolution was passed:

February 10, 2020
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that University Senate endorse the proposed degree, Bachelor of Science in Education, with a major in Primary Education, School of Education, Health and Society;
AND FURTHERMORE, that the endorsement by University Senate of the proposed degree and major will be forwarded to the Miami University Board of Trustees for consideration.
With the approval of the abbreviated minutes, the resolution will begin the 10-day waiting period in accordance with Article Three, Section Five, of the Enabling Act.
Minutes of the University Senate meeting for January 27, 2020, were approved.
