Step 1: Apply to Miami University
- Review University application deadlines.
- Complete your application via the Office of Admission website.
To pursue a music degree, you must apply both to Miami University and to the Department of Music. These are separate processes, but you may complete them concurrently—no need to wait for a University admission decision before applying to the Department.
Undergraduate applicants may be considered for a music talent scholarship. These awards are distinct and in addition to any academic merit scholarships that may be offered by the university. Music talent scholarship decisions are made at the time of audition. To be considered for a music talent scholarship, undergraduate applicants must have their audition materials evaluated no later than March 1.
