Katie Emery               

Katie Emery is the new administrative assistant in the Dean's office. She supports IT, communications, the Miami University Center for Assistive Technologies, and the Grand Challenge Scholars Program.

She comes to Miami after working for three years for Notre Dame's College of Engineering. Before that, she worked at Holy Cross College, which is also where she got her degree in Communications and Global Perspectives.

She decided to come to Miami in order to be closer to her family. Emery grew up on her family's corn and soybean farm with her four siblings in Hamilton, Ohio.

Emery and her husband are avid golfers and also enjoy watching college sports and spending time with their two golden retrievers, Trouby and Bella.
