Attend Girls Who Code Saturday Sessions!

With midterms in full swing, our CEC students have been very busy these last five weeks. One organization that has been off to a busy start is Girls Who Code.

This is a nationwide organization that provides a teaching environment to girls and boys in grades 6th to 12th to encourage them to pursue a future career in information technology. The Miami chapter hosts Saturday Sessions where these young students come to Miami’s Campus to learn a variety of programing skills.

This semester the sessions started on September 15th and will continue for the rest of the semester. This means that there is a session tomorrow September 29th, and will be lead by both Miami faculty and students with the support of the IT staff. The meetings are held in Benton Hall 001 from 12:30 to 3:30.

If you are interested in learning more about coding and programing come attend these sessions with Girls Who Code! No sign-up required!
