The Center for Assistive Technology will host the 3rd annual Research Symposium on Thursday, March 5-6 in Armstrong, room 2078.

This year’s subject is “Engineering Better Healthcare,” featuring presentations from four different Miami faculty members across several departments.

The Symposium will also feature two keynote speakers: Dr. Xiaopeng Zhao and Mekhala Raghavan, PhD.

Dr. Zhao is a professor in the department of mechanical, aerospace and biomedical engineering at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is also a Faculty Fellow for strategic Research Initiatives.

Dr. Raghavan is a senior scientist, co-founder and product manager at Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.
