Cozy Chicken Chili Workshop

Miami Nutrition Students involved in The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics made 50 chili making kits and distributed 20 to Miami Students and the rest to community members including families at the Family Resources Center (FRC) and Talawanda Oxford Pantry and Social Services (TOPSS). The kit included all of the ingredients to make the chili, a wooden spoon, a container for leftovers, and a sweet treat bag of chocolates. A special thank you to Scott Parkinson for sharing the award-winning chili recipe. Miami nutrition students, Audrey, Emily, Kaitlin, and Alexa assisted in the organization, production, editing, presentation of the event. They researched the nutritional analysis of the recipe too. Many thanks to all of you who supported and participated in this fun and informative event.
