A bike rack sculpture that was supported with a grant from the Oxford Community Foundation that was a joint effort between KNH and ART is finally being installed outside the Oxford Community Arts Center on College Ave.

The design of the bike rack was initiated by KNH and ART students with the intersection of physical activity and the arts in mind. The purpose is to promote active transportation and raise awareness about original art that can be functional and funky.

This has been a challenging but ultimately successful joint effort between EHS and CCA--to secure external funding toward a joint venture that supports STEAM -- (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), active transportation, and healthy lifestyles.
