Description: What do you want out of your life after Miami? Do you wonder how you can weave together your skills and interests into a meaningful career? Design Your College Life and Career (DYCL) workshop will guide you on how to apply the principles of design thinking to the “wicked problem” of what to do after college. You will examine these lifelong questions in an engaging workshop where you will generate alternate pathways and learn how they can be explored.
Through this presentation you will:
- Understand how design thinking principles are applied to career exploration
- Chart three different alternative futures for their future lives
- Identify resoruces and can consult in exploring careers
- Articulate the next steps they will take to explore a career
- All participants will receive free copies of the Designing Your Life book and workbook by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans
