Active shooter training course offered April 6

An active shooter training course hosted by the Miami University police department and the office of the dean of students will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in 104 Shriver Center. The training is free and open to all faculty, staff and students.

Attendees will learn the ALICE method for responding to an active shooter: Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate. Large groups should RSVP to Sgt. Susan Tobergte at (513) 529-2222.
