Twelve students receive the 2018 Provost's Student Academic Achievement Award 

Twelve seniors have received the Provost's Student Academic Achievement Award (PSAAA) for an outstanding record of academic excellence.

The recipients were selected based on nominations from Miami faculty. The award is given annually to students who have completed their third year at Miami (a minimum of 75 credit hours) and have made significant contributions to the intellectual climate of a department, an academic division or the campus.

Students are awarded a $1,000 scholarship and certificate of recognition. 

The PSAAA recipients for 2018-2019 are:

Sara Al-Zubihuman capital management and leadership and premedical studies co-major.  

Elizabeth Angi-O’Brien, individualized studies major. 

Jacob Bruggeman, history and political science double major. 

Kayla Cartwright, biology and premedical studies co-major.

Paris Franz, chemical engineering and mathematics and statistics double major.

Robert "Bob" Krueger, mathematics and physics double major, computer science and statistics double minor.

Caroline “Callie” Miller, biochemistry, premedical studies and French triple major.
