Attend one of several forums on One Miami Climate Survey recommendations

Last fall, a university task force studied responses to the One Miami Campus Climate Survey that Miami faculty staff and students took in fall 2017.

The task force broke into groups to focus on student, staff, faculty and administrative responses and concerns. Those groups created recommendations based on their reviews and will present them in forums this month and next in Oxford and at the regional campuses.

Faculty, staff and students are invited. You don't have to stay for the whole forum:
  • 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, Jan. 17, in 322 McGuffey Hall.
  • 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in 152 Shideler Hall.
  • 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, Feb. 7, in 102 Benton Hall.
  • 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Wilks Conference Center, Hamilton campus.
  • 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in 142 Johnston Hall, Middletown campus.
By Tuesday, Jan. 15, a brief summary of recommendations will be available to review on the One Miami Campus Climate Survey website. The final task force report will be ready this spring. Find more details about the process on the One Miami Campus Climate Survey website.

Printed copies of the One Miami Campus Climate Survey results have been available to Miami faculty, staff and students since late summer. Copies of the 500+-page report are at King LibraryB.E.S.T. Library and the Miller Center for Student Disability Services in Oxford, at the libraries on the regional campuses and at the Voice of America Learning Center.

A summary of results was presented in three forums in May by Rankin & Associates, the agency that conducted the One Miami Campus Climate Survey in the 2017-2018 academic year.
