Feb. 4 UPAC networking and learning event is guided tour of art museum

The Unclassified Personnel Advisory Committee (UPAC) will hold a networking and learning session at the Miami University Art Museum (MUAM) at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4.

Jason Shaiman, curator of exhibitions, will lead the tour through the galleries, which include “Outside the Box: A Student Response Exhibition,” “African Art History Capstone Exhibition” and “40@40: 40 Years of Collecting at MUAM.”

The tour is expected to last 60 minutes. If you would like to attend, please RVSP by 3 p.m. Monday by emailing UPAC member John Burke at burkejj@miamioh.edu.

The art museum opened during the 1978-1979 academic year and now contains more than 17,000 objects in its holdings.
