Employees can schedule now for April 7 COVID-19 vaccine clinic

Scheduling will close at 5 p.m. Monday, April 5

Vaccination is one of the most important tools we have to end the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. After you’ve been fully vaccinated, you can start to do some things that you had to stop doing because of the pandemic.

At Miami, we are rolling out the COVID-19 vaccine in phases. Right now, employees can schedule an appointment for Miami University’s first clinic on April 7.  The vaccines will be of the two-dose variety, and it is not clear which one will be available. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require a 21-day and 28-day waiting period between the first and second doses.

Please note: Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Scheduling for the April 7 clinic date will close at 5 p.m. Monday, April 5. Be sure to get your appointment and schedule now.
