Not only is the incoming Class of 2023 academically accomplished, it is also the largest and most diverse first-year cohort in Miami University’s 210-year history.

As of May 1, the national deadline for students to confirm their college enrollment, more than 4,500 students had confirmed Miami as their school of choice, an increase of more than 10 percent compared to one year ago. "At Miami, students don't simply absorb knowledge - they create knowledge. They participate in meaningful research, discovery, invention and scholarly contributions to make a difference in the world. They collaborate with faculty, publish in peer-reviewed journals, share in intellectual property patents and see the impact of their own ideas come to fruition," he said.
