

Ten seniors receive 2019 Provost's Student Academic Achievement Award
Ten seniors received the 2019 Provost's Student Academic Achievement Award (PSAAA). The award is given annually to students who have achieved an outstanding record of academic excellence and have made sustained and significant contributions to the intellectual climate of a department, an academic division or the campus.
The selection committee reviews nominations and awards 10–15 students with a $1000 scholarship and certificate of recognition.
The students, who were honored at a luncheon earlier this month, are:
Joseph Braun, accountancy and finance double major.
Shelby Frye, sociology and political science double major.
Taylor Gordon, political science major, statistical methods minor.
Allyson Heitger, accountancy and information systems and analytics double major.
Emily Kuehl, chemical engineering major, trombone performance and mathematics double minor.
Rachel Ollier, chemical engineering major and physics and process control double major.
Rosamiel “Rosie” Ries, geology and physics double minor.
Mitchell Singstock, anthropology major, neuroscience and premedical studies co-majors.
Mackenzie Trevethan, psychology major.
Alison Tuiyott, statistics major, analytics co-major and computer science minor.
