Dr. Elizabeth 'Like' Lokon Selected to Fulbright Scholars Program
Dr. Elizabeth 'Like' Lokon was recently selected for a Fulbright award to Indonesia for academic year 2021-2022. Her project will bring her award-winning and evidence-based Opening Minds through Art (OMA) intergenerational program to Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.

On episode 1, director of the Center for American and World Cultures Tarah Trueblood discusses the context for our polarized world and providing tips for engaging in dialogues with people of different viewpoints.

Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness facility will enhance the collaborations that define Miami
Looking towards Campus Avenue (bird's-eye view from Phillips Hall), the Clinics wing is at left (south), adjacent to the South Parking Garage; the Academic wing is at right (north) facing Nellie Craig Walker Hall. The Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness (CHSW) facility will comprise three wings connected by a wellness ribbon, the main corridor connecting three academic programs, including a new masters of medical science/physician associate studies program, and three clinics.

Valuing Water MiniConference educates the public on importance of clean water
On March 19, the Western Center for Social Impact and Innovation sponsored and organized the four-session half-day Valuing Water MiniConference: An Environmental and Sociocultural Exploration of Water. A service project on March 20 also took place at Four Mile Creek Restoration with Three Valley Conservation Trust.
