Tyler McGrew received the Best Paper Presentation Award at APEC
McGrew, who contributed to research in the ECE, had the best paper presentation at the Applied Power Electronics Virtual Conference and Exposition in June 2021.

CSE student chosen for competitive Microsoft internship
Joshua McCoy, a junior computer science major with a minor in statistical methods, was chosen for the 2021 New Technologists internship program at Microsoft. The summer academy program took in thousands of applications, but only 100 students from across the United States were chosen to work at Microsoft.

CPB senior wins National Science Foundation award for future graduate research
Lexie Adams, a senior chemical engineering major, plans to attend Stanford University to continue studying chemical engineering. Her decision to attend Stanford comes just after finding out she is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program award winner.

Graduate student spotlight: Robbie Ritchie
Before continuing his education at Miami University for a master's degree in computer science, Robbie Ritchie graduated from here with a bachelor's degree in math. Now, as a graduate student, Ritchie has four papers under his belt -- a feat not usually achieved in just under two years.
