Miami Students Participate in WGI Championships, April 20th-22nd
This weekend, April 20th-22nd, Dayton Ohio hosts the WGI Percussion Championships. This annual event draws thousands of young percussionists, including many Miami students. In all, over 250 wind and percussion groups will be competing.

Senate News, April 17, 2023
The Provost gave an update on SB-83 and Campus safety. Senators continued discussion on seven items of business including changes to the promotion policies for 1) Tenure Track and 2) TCPL faculty, 3) Responsive changes in the TCPL Promotion and Dossier Guidelines, 4) a TCPL cap change in CEC, and proposed changes to the 5) Academic Integrity Policy, 6) Registration Policy, and 7) Probation Policy. Senators gave Senate Executive Committee permission to continue to fill senate committees over the summer.

The information security team has once again received numerous reports that a fraudulent email message about Office 365 accounts has been circulating.

Changes Coming to Office Telephone Billing
Beginning on July 1, 2023, the telecommunications funding model will change to a simplified, fixed cost model based on 2021 levels.
